Your wedding day will probably be one that you’ll want to replay over and over again in your mind for years to come. But you’ll also want to be able to play it back on your TV (and phone! and Facebook!) and relive the genuine laughs, bad dance moves, and every corny line from your sister-in-law’s toast. Here are some talented local videographers who you can trust to capture every special moment of your wedding day. Each has a unique shooting style and aesthetic, so read up to see which one will be able to capture the intricacies of your day in a way you’ll love.

Danfredo Photos + Films

Danfredo Photos + Films

Danielle Rivera, owner of Kensington’s Danfredo Photos + Films, has an artistic vision that is inspired by the world around her – every background detail is important in her wedding videos. Clients are able to purchase the raw footage from their wedding day in edition to the final edited version. Sneak peeks at the video appear quickly on social media, and the final product will be delivered within just 12 weeks from the wedding date. The company recently shot the wedding of former 76ers player Gerald Henderson (See stunning photos from that here!) Prices range from $3,650 to $5,125.

CinemaCake Filmmakers

Imagine the look of utter shock of a bride who was surprised by a live performance by country singer Tim McGraw at her 500-guest wedding. Luckily, CinemaCake Filmmakers was there to catch her authentic reaction on tape as well as the live music during the father-daughter dance. Husband and wife team Dave and Sheryl Williams have been running CinemaCake out of Conshohocken for the past 18 years – needless to say, they’re pros when it comes to sound quality and customizable films. They love surprising their clients during their honeymoon with a 3-minute “Coming Soon” trailer jam packed with fun wedding highlights to preview the final product that will come 3-5 months later. Pricing is always customizable, but typically starts at $4,200.

JPG Photo & Video

JPG Photo & Video

Joseph Paul Gidjunis – nicknamed “JPEG” – knew he was in for a lifetime of photography jokes. Fittingly enough, he has owned JPG Photo & Video in Manayunk for the past 15 years, introducing video in 2013. JPG’s team of talented artists and videographers work together using tools like drones and stabilizers to design a documentary-style wedding highlight reel. To them, this means being safe but still setting up risky shots to get every angle possible. If you Google this company, you’ll find some pretty cool results: they’ve gone viral three times for shots that range from an epic Naked Biker wedding to Pope Francis’s 2015 visit to Philadelphia. Pricing begins at $2,500, with additional costs for add-ons. You’ll have the final wedding video in your hands within only ten weeks following the big day!

Stagger Films

Melissa and Michael McManus, co-owners of Collegeville-based Stagger Films, believe in the importance of organic videography. This means small teams documenting the natural smiles, hugs, and interactions throughout the wedding celebration without setting up every shot like a staged Hollywood movie. Better yet, they are happy to edit the tape into mini-films so that you can rewatch specific parts of the day without fumbling around with the fast-forward button. Pricing typically ranges from $3,900 to $6,400 and editing is turned around within three months. Check out footage from their recent trip to Arizona to film a private wedding ceremony in a canyon!

Solidity Films

Tom Harmon is a Philadelphian in love – he tied the knot with his wife, a floral designer, in 2016, three years after starting Solidity Films in Fishtown. He is passionate about the experiences and emotions that are being portrayed in their wedding videos and always make sure the right music and sounds are complementing each other in the background. It’s all about the people: small teams of videographers dedicate enough time to the couple before the wedding to ensure that the final video reflects their personality. Pricing varies on location and amount of coverage, and delivery dates are custom to each couple.

BeauMonde Originals

BeauMonde Originals

You can trust the certified drone pilot from BeauMonde Originals to capture a unique birds-eye view of your wedding. Based out of East Falls, Cathie Berrey-Green and Allen Green have been in the business for 14 years. Since then, they’ve updated their services to include social media focused packages that cater to all of your Instagram needs. They’ll send a 2-3 person team to catch every intimate exchange without getting in the way. 8-hour wedding rates start at $3,900; expect a beautifully crafted film after a meticulous six-month editing process following the event.

Tweed Video

Tweed Video

MTV alum Louis Sparre started his full-service production company, Tweed Video, 8 years ago in Port Richmond and has been creating one-of-a-kind wedding videos ever since. Each package is completely unique to the clients’ vision and can include rehearsal dinner coverage, drone shots, extra hours, and more. The company is dedicated to each and every wedding they shoot, some of which have included high-profile clients like Groupon Singapore founder Karl Chong and Lewis Burgdorf of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”. Newlyweds receive a wedding ‘gram teaser 30 days after the event and the final video within three months. Prices typically range from $2,500 to $5,000.

Well Spun Weddings

Well Spun Weddings

Well Spun Weddings has been working out of Fort Washington for the past 12 years, with teams in other big cities like New York, Boston, and San Francisco. Owner Jon Gangwer’s staple is the Wedding Video Book, a paperback album that plays your wedding video when you open it – the perfect addition to any room in the house. He also does social media edits. Small teams of two videographers can film in any location (think Europe, South America!) and final videos are edited within 3 months of the wedding. Pricing ranges from $2,200 to $6,000, but the company is flexible and can work with any budget requirements.

City South Films

Shay Kramer shot video for three years before taking initiative and starting City South Films in Grad Hospital in 2016.  In addition to the wedding day itself, the videographers spend another, less rushed day with the couple (usually the day before) that is solely dedicated to getting to know their personalities in a relaxed setting. The company is always looking for opportunities to shoot local events around Philly, and even filmed the wedding of Flyers goalie Bernie Parent. Packages start at $4,000; there are multiple options to choose from, which can be customized. The final video is returned six months after the event.

Allure Films

Tim Sudall, owner of Allure Films in Havertown, has overseen the filming of thousands of weddings at an array of different venues over the past twenty years. The films include drone coverage, a sound specialist, and a video booth where guests can send video messages to the bride and groom. Teams from Allure Films have gotten to see some pretty cool people up close: they filmed the wedding of Eagles’ Jason Kelce to his wife Kylie as well as guest performances from Elton John and Bon Jovi. Prices range from $3,000 to $5,000 and final videos are turned around in only six short weeks.

New Pace Wedding Films

This Ardmore video production service was founded in 2007 by JC Costa and Bill Connell with the mission to help each couple find a wedding package that fits their particular needs and budget. New Pace Wedding Films recently had the exciting opportunity to film the unveiling of The Lucy, Cescaphe’s newest Philadelphia wedding venue. All of their wedding films are fully edited within 90 days of the event (complete with fun dancing montages!) and Instagram teasers are available within a month. Pricing typically ranges between $2,800 and $4,300 and custom payment plans are available.
