While the sports world is enraptured with the Roman numeral, XLIX, taco lovers in Philadelphia are more excited about XI. Tonight, Sancho Pistola’s is hosting its 11th Fishtown Taco Exchange, and this evening’s dance partner is SpOt Burger. SpOt’s Josh Kim is known for his burgers and Best of Philly winning cheesesteaks, but tonight he will be making beef tenderloin tempura tacos.
The fun kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Sancho’s and two tacos will be $14.

SPOT Burger is raising money for a brick-and-mortar location of the popular food truck near or on Drexel’s campus. This weekend, owner Joshua Kim teased what the non-wheeled version of SPOT might look like.
Kim’s GoFundMe campaign continues and for every dollar you donate, you can redeem it in free food once the new SPOT opens.

The highly praised Spot Burger cart by Josh Kim has launched a $75,000 GoFundMe campaign in order to raise money for a brick-and-mortar location for the cart that normally hangs out around Drexel’s campus.
According to Kim, Spot Burger has “caught the attention of a retail developer, and we have been given the opportunity of a full restaurant in the Drexel Campus/Mantua area.”
Since coming on the scene in early 2012, Kim has received lots of praise including a 2014 Best of Philly award for Best Cheesesteak.
GoFundMe is a bit different than the better known Kickstarter, all GoFundMe campaigns have no deadlines or goal requirements and no penalties for missing your goal. So all donations are received by the person offering the fundraising campaign.
