Twinkies Might Be Saved!
Fear not, Twinkie lovers–hope might be on the way. A Florida company has stepped forward, saying it’s interested in buying Hostess, maker of Twinkies, Ding Dongs, Wonder Bread and all those other bad things your mom used to pack in your school lunch. Hurst Capital LLLC filed a letter of intent with U.S. Bankrupcty Court detailing its interest in buying Hostess.
The company is run by ‘Tech Twins’ Austin & Zach Hurst, who–according the company web site–created their first successful business at the age of 11. [Company Statement]
