In the ultimate Monday workout motivation, recent research found that regularly working out saved folks, on average, anywhere from $500 to $2500 a year. And, conveniently, there are a bunch of free workouts happening around town this week, so you can get your sweat on while keeping those savings in your wallet. (Winning!) We’ve rounded them up below.

1. Unite Philly Run
When: Tuesday, September 13th at 6 p.m.
Where: Unite Fitness, 104 South 12th Street
This Tuesday, Unite Fitness is taking over the streets of Center City with a giant cross-training run, open to anyone and everyone who is ready to sweat their face off — because trust me: you will. The two-mile run will start at Unite’s Midtown Village gym, then take people through Center City, stopping at surprise exercise stations where you’ll be tasked with tackling burpees, push-ups and the like before continuing onward to the next exercise station. The run ends at Unite’s soon-to-open Rittenhouse gym for a sneak peek — and snacks! RSVP here.

2. Free Fit Academy Boot Camp
When: Thursday, September 15th at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Art Museum Steps
Every month, Fit Academy teams up with trainers form around the city to put on a giant free boot camp at the Art Museum Steps. You are guaranteed to sweat a lot AND have a lot of fun (really!). Afterward, everyone heads to Fairmount’s Urban Saloon for a well-earned beer. As always, this installment of the boot camp is free, but Fit Academy will be taking donations to put toward their brick-and-mortar location that’s slated to open in Fairmount later this year. Snag your spot here.

3. Run to Work Day
When: Friday, September 16th
Where: Anywhere you are in Philly!
Guessssssssss what?! Run to Work Day is BACK this Friday, friends! Can you tell we’re a littttttle bit excited? For the third year, we’re teaming up with the lovely humans at Run215 and Philadelphia Runner to encourage people to ditch their cars and SEPTA for a running commute. And if you need some incentive, we’ve got plenty: A pre-work runners’ party — complete with refueling essentials — will kick off at Philadelphia Runner’s Center City store (16th and Sansom Streets) at 7:30 a.m., and there may or may not be some free salads involved for anyone who pounds the pavement into work (more on that later). You can join in on the fun on your own or with one of the organized running groups that will be leaving from different points around town (more on those later this week). For now, just dust off your running shoes and RSVP to the Facebook event here.

4. Free Yoga in Mifflin Square Park
When: Saturday, September 17th at 10 a.m.
Where: 6th and Ritner Streets
What better way to start your weekend than with free yoga? That’s right: There is no better way. (Unless said yoga is followed by brunch and mimosas.) This weekend and next, you’ll find free yoga for adults and families in Mifflin Square Park. Adult yoga, a beginner-friendly Vinyasa class, starts at 10 a.m.. Then, children and family yoga kicks off at 11:15. No need to RSVP; just make sure to bring a mat, a water bottle and at towel.
