1. Candlelight Yoga with CoreFitness
When: Friday, February 20th at 6:15 p.m.
Where: Urban Saloon, 2120 Fairmount Avenue, Fairmount.

Yes, that’s right. The Fairmount bar will play host to candles and yogis this Friday evening as CoreFitness leads a special class to help you unwind before the weekend. It’s $20, or two for $30 (so yes, you should bring a friend). Walk-ins and all fitness levels are welcome.

2. Philadelphia Runner Manayunk’s Grand Opening Weekend
When: Friday through Sunday.
Where: 4347 Main Street, Manayunk.

It’s finally heeeere! Philadelphia Runner’s new store is officially open for business, and they’re celebrating all weekend with free events. On Friday, there’s a grand opening open house with beer, wine and food starting at 4 p.m. On Saturday, you can join in on one of two trail runs happening at 9 a.m. And on Sunday, they’re teaming up with neighbor Goals Fit for a pre-Mummers Mardi Gras Parade run at 9 a.m. After the run, stick around the shop to watch the parade, sip mimosas, eat snacks and more.

3. Endurance Sports Expo
When: Saturday, February 21st and Sunday, February 22nd.
Where: Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Avenue, Oaks.

Runners, cyclists, triathletes and more will be in endurance-sports heaven at this massive expo. From seminars with experts to more than 200 vendor booths to demo opportunities, there’s plenty to soak up to help you prep for this year’s races. It’s $7 for one day or $12 for both.

4. Ugly Mudder Seven-Mile Trail Run
When: Sunday, February 22nd at 11 a.m.
Where: Reading Liederkranz German Singing & Sports Club, 140 Spook Lane, Reading.

From the same folks who brought you last month’s Chilly Cheeks trail run, there’s this (and I quote, because their own race description is just so darn perfect): “Like all PCS races, its course has hills, downed logs and debris, rocks and roots, discarded birth control supplies, deer droppings and urban relics along the way. But it ALSO has a few GOOD things as well; a great post race party, funny signs, unusual aide stations, attractive volunteers with low morals, great course markings, a hot breakfast afterwards and other niceties that made this, on several occasions, one of the five largest rustic trail runs in the entire country and the largest East of the Mississippi.” It’s $39 to participate.

5. Random Tea Room 7th Anniversary Shindig
When: Sunday, February 22nd at 8 p.m.
Where: 713 North 4th Street, Northern Liberties.

The NoLibs tea shop is celebrating its birthday with boozy beverages, festive nibbles and live jazz music. Weather permitting, the backyard fire pit will be a-blazing.
