WATCH: Armed Duo Take Hoverboard From Teens at Rec Center

Two suspects are sought.

Police are seeking two suspects from a mid-December robbery at a West Philly recreation center that ended up netting a hoverboard, among other items.

The incident took place Dec. 18 at Shepard Recreation Center, 5700 Haverford. Investigators say two males approached a group of teens outside the center, pointed handguns at the group and demanded their property. The robbers got the red hoverboard and an iPhone 6 from one victim; they took a bookbag filled with clothing from a second victim.

Both suspects are black males, estimated to be 17 or 18 years of age. One is described 5’9″-5’10” with stocky build, wearing a brown puffy coat with a black hooded sweatshirt underneath; he also wore blue jeans and a black “skully.” The second suspect stood 5’6″ with a thin build, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black skully.
