The failed presidential candidate changed his mode of attack from gays to women
Former PA Senator and failed presidential candidate Rick Santorum spoke last night at the Republican National Convention in Tampa. While Santorum spent much of his campaign attacking LGBT rights in this country, he made only veiled references to same-sex marriage (and his opposition to it) during the first day of the convention.
“Marriage is disappearing in places where government dependency is the highest,” Santorum said. “But if America is going to succeed, we must stop the assault on marriage and the family in America today.”
He mostly focused his attention on a subject that is dividing many Republicans and Democrats in this country – abortion rights.
