Chris Christie Has No Interest in Heading to Washington


On Monday, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie addressed the media for the first time regarding Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s vice presidential selection. Christie had been long rumored to be on the short list, but was asked to deliver the keynote address at the GOP convention as Paul Ryan became Romney’s running mate. The guv compared the prospect of Romney asking him to be veep to the idea of being asked out on a date, saying that he doesn’t know how he would have responded if Romney had asked him out to be on the ticket.
