It’s been a rough year-plus for couples looking to get married, amirite? You’ve postponed, planned and replanned, downsized … the list goes on. And while huge milestones like an engagement would normally be celebrated with a fancy night out or at a party, surrounded by loved ones, our options for special nights that feel truly special have been significantly culled this year. That’s why we were so excited to see that couples have a new option for a very romantic night (perhaps to pop the question?!) at the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia. To be more specific: You can book the new Night Spa couple’s massage package, available beginning February 10th. (Yes, just in time for that most cringeworthy of holidays, Valentine’s Day.)

Here’s what’s included: Couples get a 60-minute late-night massage with private access to the 57th floor spa (it’s lined in healing crystals and was named one of the best in the world) and infinity-edge pool — alone. That means you two can float to your hearts’ content with no other duos or solo swimmers to disrupt your peace and quiet — or your view of the city lights below.

Your appointment will start at 10:30 p.m. with a walk down a hallway decked out with candles and flowers — the work of artistic director and florist-to-the-stars Jeff Leatham. (Get a peek at his designs during this unbelievable proposal.) The treatment (choose from Swedish, deep tissue, crystal oil, aromatherapy or mother-to-be) takes place on the pool deck and will last for an hour. Afterward, uncork a complimentary bottle of bubbly (Taittinger) and dip into the heated pool. You can soak it all in until one a.m.

Upgrades are available if you want to further boost the wow factor — a 90-minute massage, a bottle of Dom Pérignon, a three-course meal from the on-site Jean-Georges, to be set up within the spa area. (The Valentine’s Day weekend menu serves up tuna tartare with caviar and brioche, a choice of steamed black sea bass or seared prime beef tenderloin, and a chocolate dessert. V-Day orders must be placed by February 11th. You can also select from the in-room dining menu.)

Additional accoutrements include a dozen long-stemmed roses (by way of Leatham) and two monogrammed robes, so you can continue vicariously living the luxe life at home.

COVID-19 health and safety protocols are followed on-property, and visitors are expected to comply with the guidelines. (Read more about Four Seasons’ practices here.)

The price tag for it all? It starts at a cool $1,500. Probably not what you’re looking to drop to replace your regular Friday-night date — but a pretty great option if you’re looking to create an unforgettable proposal experience.
