Random question: Have you ever seen The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 1? I’m asking because it’s in this installment of the popular vampire franchise that Edward and Bella get married, and while I could talk about her gorgeous dress and her hair and the ceremony space all day long, what I’m really eager to touch on today is the song she walked down the aisle to.

It’s “Turning Page” by a band called Sleeping at Last, and I’m fairly certain (after listening to both the regular and instrumental versions a million times) that it’ll be the song that I choose for the processional at my wedding—it’s really good. (Go listen to it now. I’ll wait.)

The point I’m getting at here is that if you want to ditch Mendelssohn’s traditional “Wedding March” for something that’s a little more modern, there are lots of beautiful options to pick from. Let us make it easy for you: Here are 50 songs that’ll make for a lovely entrance to your wedding ceremony.

Take a listen and see if you find a favorite in the mix. Then tell us: What song did you choose for your walk down the aisle?
