Infographic: How Millennial Couples Pay For Their Weddings

A recent survey conducted by The Knot and PayPal took a look at how millennial couples finance their weddings, and the results shed some interesting light on the spending habits and preferences of today’s newlyweds.

The survey polled couples about wedding budgets, financial stress and the payment methods they use for their weddings; the below infographic rounds up the key findings, one of the main ones being that couples prefer to pay vendors electronically and on their smartphones. (They’d even prefer that payments be automated.)

It’s also interesting to note that 65 percent of couples don’t factor honeymoon expenses into their wedding budgets—that’s something you’ll definitely want to keep in mind when determining your spending limit.
