Picture of the Week: The Case for Eloping

The sun was just passing over that bridge behind the lush foliage of Wissahickon Creek Park. Most weddings are mic’d and I get to hear every word, but for Christina and Larry’s intimate ceremony, I shot from a distance and watched as they wed in a short, personal ceremony on that Tuesday afternoon. I felt so honored to be there to witness such a tender event as they stood on the bridge on Forbidden Drive—the very path where they met two years ago—and read their vows to one another as just a few runners and cyclists passed by.
