Both The Westin Beach Resort & Spa and Sheraton Beach Hotel in Fort Lauderdale have recently undergone some pretty extensive renovations, and to celebrate both that and the happiness of summer travel, they’ve marked down their peak-season rates by more than 40 percent: Book between now and October 31, 2012, and you’ll get Summer Savings rates at the Westin starting at $169 per night, and at the Sheraton starting at $139.
