Cops: Man Robbed Fishtown Rite Aid With a Hypodermic Needle

Police are looking for the man seen in this video.

The Philadelphia Police Department has released surveillance footage of a man robbing a Fishtown drug store using a hypodermic needle as a weapon.

Investigators say that the incident occurred at 10:20 a.m. last Friday, March 25th, at the Rite Aid at 2545 Aramingo Avenue in Fishtown. The man in the photo can be seen on the surveillance video removing merchandise from the shelves. Then he tries to walk straight out the door. A 21-year-old female employee tries to stop him, and that’s when he allegedly whipped out a hypodermic needle and threatened her with it.

Watch on the surveillance video as she appears to try to shut him inside the store by blocking the door. She must really like her job.
