London Olympics Were the Most-Watched Event in U.S. History


NBC is pretty happy with itself following the 2012 London Games, especially now that it’s been announced that this year’s Olympics were the most-watched event in the history of television in the United States. The newest numbers show that 219 million people tuned in to at least “sample” the Olympics. But, there isn’t a metric for the tape delays, spoiled results, and reconstructed order of events that left many people with a sour taste in their mouths. [Washington Post]
