New Talent for IndiGoGo

The Indigo Ball after-party adds more acts in time for Oct. 1

As Philly gets ready for the Indigo Ball on Saturday, Oct. 1, there’s news about the event’s much-anticipated after-party – IndiGoGo at the Trocadero (9 p.m.). The William Way‘s Paul Blore recently let us know about a slew of talent that will be featured at the premiere event.

DJ Chip Dish will be spinning dance tunes all night. And when he’s not on deck, there are several live performances planned.

The Dancers of Gunnar Clark’s BODYBAG will hit the stage throughout the evening. Clark is currently a senior at the University of the Arts who performs with Brian Sanders’ JUNK. His work’s also been seen at the Koresh and Mt. Vernon Artists Showcases. He’s working with Sanders on a Momix production representing Mercedes Benz at L.A. Fashion Week.

Tammy Faymous of QREAM has been added to the drag and comedy lineup, which also includes the outrageous Dumpsta Players and Liberty City Kings. It’s been a good year for Tammy, who also competed in the Gayborhood Games recently – kicking out a live rendition of “Proud Mary” in some of the highest heels we’ve seen. She also joined her “drag mother” Martha Graham Cracker on stage at L’Etage for the first time this summer.

Finally, the Spin Tribe’s Philly Chapter will also be at IndiGoGo teaching folks about the art of…flag-spinning.

IndiGoGo, Oct. 1, 9 p.m., Trocadero, 1003 Arch St., 215-922-6888.
