Tom Knox promised a surprise this morning — and now we know what it is. The millionaire businessman, who has weighed running for mayor this year as a Republican, an independent, and a Democrat, will join Ed Rendell in endorsing Mayor Nutter’s re-election at a 10 a.m. news conference.
