We live in a fitness era characterized by options — spin, kickboxing, barre, yoga, reformer Pilates, even trampoline-based cardio. Whatever your muscles want, your muscles get. Typically, though, we hit different studios for each of these workouts, and dedicate one day per regimen.

To give you the best of all your fitness favs back-to-back, four Chestnut Hill studios have teamed up for a hybrid workout event this Sunday, July 14th. The “TryClassathon” will feature classes from DanceFit Chestnut Hill, Pure Barre, Rebel Yoga Studio, and Vitality.

Here’s how it works: Each studio will offer three, 30-minute classes at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. That means you can experience a max of three different workouts in one morning, or you can repeat studios if that’s what you’re feeling. You’ll have the opportunity to shimmy and shake during DanceFit’s HipFit, feel your muscles quiver during Pure Barre’s signature workout, flow through a Vinyasa-based yoga practice courtesy of Rebel, and strengthen and tone during Vitality’s Pilates Mat class. In between classes, you’ll have a half hour to make it to the next studio, so feel free to walk, run, or ride to your next sweat sesh.

After all your workouts, refuel with food and drinks at local eateries. At Chestnut Hill Grill, you’ll get a free mimosa or Bloody Mary with the purchase of any sandwich, salad, or brunch item. To get 20-percent off your entire bill, head over to Chestnut Hill Brewing Company. FYI, you’ll have to show your TryClassathon ticket in order to take advantage of these specials.

Registration for the fitness crawl happens in two easy steps. First, purchase your $35 ticket here. Then, select your schedule of classes via this Google Form. Both steps must be completed in order to participate in TryClassathon. Don’t wait too long, though — registration closes on July 13th, the night before the event.
