This Yoga and Brunch Event Will Have a DIY Avocado Toast Bar

You, yoga, and avocado toast. What more could you want?

You know, as much as people complain about Millennials, it really doesn’t require much to keep us happy. Yes, I mean, we’d obviously all love to to be home owners and to have retirement plans and to have promotions magically programmed into our career paths. But since those things are pretty much never gonna happen, we’ll settle for finding our joy in avocado toast. I mean, who can be unhappy while munching on a breakfast food that tastes as good as it looks on Instagram?

That’s why we’re overjoyed to announce that Namaste Nourish, an up-an-coming plant-based catering company in Philly, is partnering with Teranga Yoga for a Yoga Brunch event, which will feature — you guessed it — avocado toast. Here’s how it’s going down: you’ll show up, lay out your mat (which you brought from home, since you’re a pro at these things), then settle in for a 75-minute flow to African beats.

After your final savasana, you’ll get to dig into the all plant-powered brunch (this one’s for you, vegans!). And because Namaste Nourish knows the way to all millennials’ hearts, there will be a “create your own” avocado toast bar, in addition to some fluffy vegan pancakes, juice shots, and more. Sound totally dreamy? Same, girl, same.

Ready to nama-stay for breakfast? The Yoga Brunch event is scheduled for Saturday, March 24, at 10 a.m. at 246 Fitzwater Street, Unit 14. Tickets to this pop-up event are $40, and can be purchased here.
