You won't find any running here.

Guys, can you believe the Philadelphia Marathon is less than a week away? Maybe it’s just us, but time has just seemed to whiz right past us. If you don’t plan on running the Marathon (hey, 26.2 miles is a lot of running), we’ve got another type of marathon sweat session for you to join in on.

This Sunday, November 20th, father-daughter duo Bob Halinski and Stephanie Kensy will be hosting their first ever morning-long Ride and Renew workout event at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center. To break it down for you: The “ride” portion is an hour-long Spin class and the “renew” portion is an hour-long yoga class. See? A marathon workout filled with riding and renewing.

There are three class times to choose from, with both a yoga and cycling class happening at each time: 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m and 11 a.m. You’re welcome to register for a single class (you know, if marathon sweat sessions aren’t your thing) or both cycling and yoga classes, with a $25 minimum donation required for each class. In return for your donation, you get a workout, along with a swag bag, including a water bottle, snack, and protein bar. And what are you donating to, you ask? Well, 100 percent of the proceeds from the event will go to the Mary Halinski Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund at Jefferson. So while you break a sweat, you’ll also be doing a good deed. You can register ahead of time  here.
