Buy Soup, Support MANNA

This icy weather calls for soup. So how about a warming bowl that also supports a good cause? The Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance is hosting a Souper Bowl (get it?) fundraiser right now to help generate support for its nutrition programs for critically ill Philadelphians.
Through February 14th, you can order quarts of homemade soup from MANNA for $10. The options are creamy vegetarian corn chowder, chicken noodle or a vegetarian MANNA Minestrone. Pickup is at MANNA’s offices at 2323 Ranstead Street in Center City, near 23rd and Market. Each soup purchase provides a full day of meals to MANNA clients.
