Runners, get your calendars ready. We’ve rounded up our 13 favorite races this fall—from charity 5Ks and marathons to Halloween runs and turkey trots. There’s bound to be something for everybody.

SEPTEMBER

Paper Mill Run 5K Race
Celebrate what claims to be the “birthplace of paper in the United States” and support historic RittenhouseTown with this annual 5K; prizes go to the top finisher in each age group.

When: September 10th at 10 a.m.
Where: Wissahickon Drive & Lincoln Drive

Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon
Leave your iPod at home—runners get treated to free concerts as they navigate the band-lined course. This year’s headliner: Bret Michaels.

When: September 18th at 8 a.m.
Where: Benjamin Franklin Parkway and North 22nd Street.

Atlantic City International Triathlon
Brave an ocean swim, bike the AC Expressway, run on the iconic boardwalk, then celebrate at the Sammy Hagar’s Beach Bar after-party.

When: September 18th at 6:45 a.m.
Where: Historic Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City

Great Urban Race
Solve 12 Philly-related clues and complete mental and physical challenges to win cash and a chance to compete in the national championship.

When: September 24th at noon
Where: Cavanaugh’s River Deck, 417 N. Columbus Boulevard

Sloppy Cuckoo Trail Half Marathon
After traversing this 13.1-mile course of rocks, dirt and tree stumps, runners are treated to an Oktoberfest party. Lederhosen not required.

When: September 25th at 9 a.m.
Where: Pine Road Entry at Philly’s Pennypack Park
