To Do: Race for Angels 5K

Help create an angel garden, a place to remember children gone too soon

Help create a space where parents can remember a lost little one

The Virtua Foundation is teaming up with local volunteers to raise money for an angel garden, an outdoor reflective space at the Virtua Vorhees hospital where parents can engrave the name of a lost child onto a memorial and pause to honor his or her memory. To help this dream become a reality—and help many families cope with their tragic loss—come out to the William G. Rohrer Center for Health and Fitness in Vorhees to run the Race for Angels 5K on August 14. It’s a great way to break a sweat while contributing to a good cause.

$25, August 14, 8:30 a.m., William G. Rohrer Center for Health and Fitness, 2309 Evesham Road, Vorhees, 609-502-7552.
