This is the #1 Item Newlyweds Regret Not Registering For

The end goal when building your wedding registry is to walk away from the process with a nice assortment of items that are guaranteed to get good use in your new married life. Oftentimes this means thinking ahead, imagining how your lifestyle will (or will not) change once you become husband and wife—and then again in the coming years—and then choosing the gifts and gadgets that make the most sense for you.

But no matter how well you know yourself and your to-be, there’s always a chance that somewhere down the road you’ll find yourself needing an item you wish you had included on your gift list—and for most people, it turns out, that item is luggage.

In a recent survey of 650 millennial-aged newlyweds, the registry site Zola found that the biggest registry regret most couples face is not registering for luggage. And we’re not surprised: With experiential gifts and honeymoon registries becoming the new norm, luggage is key for couples who make travel a priority.
