I think it’s safe to say that eyelash extensions are having a major moment right now—both in the bridal world and beauty scene in general. It was last year that we first starting hearing about the growing popularity of lash extensions, and since then, the trend has completely blown up—it seems like every week we’re getting an email about a new lash bar coming to town or a spa or salon that’s adding the service to their menu. (Not that we’re complaining: We’re always advising brides to consider extensions for their wedding day as a way to avoid mascara-streaked cheeks.)

Enter Lash Bash: the latest addition to the city’s network of lash extension experts. At the helm is UPenn alum Erin Branche, who, after traveling back and forth to New York City for lash refills, decided to open Lash Bash to bring the same experience to women here in Philly. “I saw there was a need in the market for a posh lash and beauty bar—a super girly place where women on the go could pop in, feel pampered, and leave with their lashes looking amazing,” she says.

Lash Bash’s classic extensions are available in three levels of intensity (flirty, vixen and vamp), depending on how subtle or bold you want the end result to be. Plus, they’ll be doing Russian Volume Lashes, a more recent trend where two to five lightweight false lashes are applied to each of your own lashes—it creates a very voluminous, but soft, look for brides who want to go all out.

And that’s just the start of what Lash Bash has in store: They’ll also offer makeup services for bridal parties and special events. Their signature look books highlight the most popular lash and makeup styles, so when you go in for your trial, you’ll have images to reference while chatting with your stylist about your vision for the Big Day.

You may have seen the Lash Bash pop-ups at Lacquer Lounge and 21M Salon, but you’ll be able to check out the new space when it opens on December 1.  To learn more about their services and to make an appointment, go here.
