Here’s Your Monday Morning Dose of Celebrity Wedding Scoop From the Weekend
In our world, no Monday morning is complete without a thorough recap of the weekend’s celebrity wedding news. And, much to our enjoyment, this weekend in particular did not disappoint: With two high profile same-sex weddings and a (suspected) engagement, we have plenty of details to fill you in on.
Let’s start with the most popular event from the past few days: The highly anticipated wedding of *NSYNC’s Lance Bass and artist Michael Turchin. The duo tied the knot on Saturday in front of 300 guests at a lavish affair at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. Check out the handsome guys (in their custom tuxes) below.
The ceremony—which was officiated by actresses Joanna Garcia Swisher and Jamie-Lynn Sigler—included a non-traditional wedding party (their flower girls were supermodels!) and a combination of elements from the grooms’ Baptist and Jewish heritages. Afterwards, guests danced the night away and snacked on some pretty serious desserts. See all the details from their over-the-top party here, and watch the whole day unfold for yourself when Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding airs on February 5 on E!.
Longtime lovebirds Elton John and David Furnish also got hitched this weekend, opting for a quiet celebrity-studded affair at Sir Elton’s home outside of London. The duo’s two sons served as ring bearers for the occasion, and plenty of photos were posted to Instagram throughout the day.
And lastly, we’ve heard rumors swirling for a few days now that Cameron Diaz is engaged to her rocker boyfriend Benji Madden. The actress has been caught wearing a ring on that finger but the couple has yet to confirm the news. We’ll keep you posted!
UPDATE: We’ll take this as confirmation! Congrats, Cameron!
