WEIGHTED STEP-UPS
- Works: Glutes, hips, core, quads and ham- strings.
- Form: Holding a weight in each hand, place one foot on a chair or step (knee should not be much higher than hip crease) and step up to full extension. Slowly step back down, keeping the foot on the chair, and repeat.
- Count: Three to four sets of 12 reps per leg.
DONKEY KICK
- Works: Glutes and hamstrings.
- Form: Get on all fours on a mat, with hands under shoulders and knees under hips. Then, with your right leg bent at 90 degrees, sweep it back and up until the quad is parallel to the floor. Return to starting position and repeat.
- Count: Three to four sets of 20 reps per leg.
