Skeletal Human Remains Found in West Kensington Lot

A city work crew stumbled across the bones at a lot on East Cambria Street.

A city work crew this morning came across skeletal human remains in an empty lot in the city’s West Kensington section.

A Philadelphia Police Department spokesperson said the city workers found the bones at 10:13 a.m. in a vacant lot in the 400 block of East Cambria Street.

As of now, the police have not been able to determine whether the remains are of a male or a female, nor have they been able to determine the length of time the body had lain exposed.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing as of now.
