Man in Fake Beard, Eagles Hoodie Stabs Market Cashier

Police say a man stabbed a cashier at a grocery store in West Philadelphia after he failed to steal from the market's cash register.

A man wearing an Eagles hoodie and a ridiculous fake beard stabbed a cashier after a robbery attempt failed, police say.

Cops released a video of the man they say tried to rob the Jacquez Grocery Store at 6001 Baltimore Avenue in West Philly. Last last month, police say an unidentified man entered the store with a knife, demanding money. The cashier attempted to prevent the robber from getting to the cash register, and the suspect then stabbed the employee in the hand.

The cashier was treated a Mercy Hospital for the cut.

Police released the following description of the suspect:

Suspect Description: Black male, 25-27 years-of-age, 5’8″, 150 lbs, wearing a green Eagles hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and light colored sneakers. Suspect appears to be wearing a fake beard.
