Nobody Is Driving on DRPA Bridges


Traffic volume on the Ben Franklin, Betsy Ross, Commodore Barry, and Walt Whitman Bridges is on pace to reach a 17-year low in 2012. The traffic on the Delaware River Port Authority bridges is expected to be 13 percent lower than the high in 2007. DRPA officials site high gas prices and bridge construction for the lack of traffic volume. Apparently they didn’t consider the idea that no one wants to go to Jersey. BOOM. [Inquirer]
