Roy Halladay Set to Begin Rehab Assignment
Doc Halladay—who has missed Phillies action since May 27th due to a strained lat muscle—will make a rehab start on Thursday for the Single-A Clearwater Threshers. Halladay is 4-5 for Phils this season and has posted a 3.98 ERA through 72.1 innings over 11 starts. He should return to the Phillies within three weeks, marking the first time since last season that he, Ryan Howard and Chase Utley will be with the team together since last season—that is, assuming Utley and Howard can stay healthy until then.
