Romney’s Delco Speech Means the Race for Republican Candidacy Has Officially Reached Pennsylvania

Romney Speaks in Delco. The campaign for the Republican candidacy has officially reached Pennsylvania. Last night Mitt Romney spoke to 400 or so supporters at a small business in Delaware County. For the first time in this campaign, Romney’s remarks were solely focused on Barack Obama and not Romney’s Republican competitors. [6 ABC]

Rib Joint Withholds From Flyers. After their weekend win against Pittsburgh, Flyers coach Peter Laviolette made mention of the fact that the team seems to win in Pittsburgh whenever they order ribs from a joint in West Virginia. Well, word reached the owners of the place and they’re Pens fans, so it looks like the Flyers will be going hungry from here on out. [Crossing Broad]

Main Line Mansion Burns. Bloomfield—a 19th-century Main Line mansion designed by Horace Trumbauer—was destroyed by a fire yesterday. The couple renting the house and their pets made it out safely before more than 120 firefighters from 10 companies worked to control the blaze. The Radnor township mansion was recently used to film scenes for an upcoming Jason Statham movie. [Inquirer]

Parking Attendant Attacked. A parking attendant working at a lot on the 1300 block of Locust Street was hit in the head with a brick during a robbery attempt. He’s in critical condition at Jefferson. [6 ABC]

Sixers Lose to Raptors. They had the worst quarter of any Sixers team since the franchise moved into the Wells Fargo Center when their fourth-quarter effort earned them seven points. That’s probably not going to get it done. [Yahoo!]
