Highlights from the annual dinner at the Ritz-Carlton

LGBT leaders and celebrities gathered on Saturday night at the Ritz-Carlton for the HRC’s annual dinner. The star-studded guest list included politicians and celebrities alike – including Rep. Patrick Murphy who was instrumental in ending the ban on gays in the military, as well as actress Maria Bello (we loved her in “Prime Suspect”) and comedian Ross Mathews from “Chelsea Lately.”

A few folks from the G Philly team were also at the event – G Philly was the proud sponsor of the after-party at Sisters with drinks, music and dancing that continued until last call. Guests also enjoyed gift bags featuring a few surprises and the new spring issue of the magazine.

HughE Dillon of Philly Chit Chat shared a few great photos from the evening. Not only did many featured speakers share their own experiences with LGBT rights, there were also plenty of laughs and a serious reminder about the importance of this election year when it comes to the advancement of gay rights in America – and the freedom to marry in Pennsylvania.
