DADT Documentary Debuts Tomorrow
Former PA Congressman Patrick Murphy is featured in the new HBO film
As the country celebrates the official repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” tomorrow, Sept. 20 (there are several events we told you about in Philadelphia) HBO is premiering a new documentary that takes a look at gays in the military. The Strange History of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” tells the story of how the ban came to be, and how advocates like Murphy – a military man himself – helped overturn it.
