Levi Kreis Performs Tonight

Openly gay singer hits the stage at World Cafe Live

Most people may recognize Levi Kreis from his Tony Award-winning performance as Jerry Lee Lewis in the Broadway musical Million Dollar Quartet last year. But tonight, the openly gay crooner will be singing a very different tune at World Cafe Live when he performs tracks from his sophomore album The Gospel According to Levi.

Kreis’ single “We’re Okay,” about a young gay man’s sometimes tumultuous relationship with his mother, held the number one position on Logo’s music charts for nine weeks. Over the years, the singer-songwriter has also performed alongside music legends Melissa Etheridge, Cyndi Lauper and Quincy Jones.

Tonight, Kreis shares the stage with Eric Himan and Jason Antone.
