Dreaming up something romantic for you and your S.O.? A couple’s massage is calling your name. Below, our guide to Philly-area spas offering bodywork treatments for two — most are side-by-side! — so you can have some rejuvenating self-care time, together.
Ame Salon and Spa
111 Waynewood Avenue, Wayne
This boutique in Wayne offers side-by-side massages in its loft. Choose between the spa’s signature Relax or deep-tissue massages, and enjoy enhancements like Himalayan salt stones and a hand/foot scrub for $40 each.
Body Restoration Spa
1611 Walnut Street, 3rd floor, Rittenhouse
Since 2002, Body Restoration Spa has been a go-to for restorative massages. (There’s also facials, waxing, and brow services on the menu.) Their couple’s offering is a 60-minute side-by-side Swedish, and costs $280 per couple. Pro tip: Take the massage class for you and your S.O. so you can learn some at-home techniques.
The Body Serene Day Spa and Salon
4007 Skippack Pike, Skippack
Out in Skippack, Body Serene Day Spa and Salon will help the two of you feel relaxed and rejuvenated with its Swedish-style couple’s massage. Book for 50 minutes ($205) or 100 minutes ($385).
Formation Sauna + Wellness
305 Brown Street, Northern Liberties
This plant-laden paradise in NoLibs will see you both enjoying 60-, 75-, or 90-minute massages at the same time, just in separate rooms. ($240-$320 per couple.) But we recommend one of the massage and sauna packages so you can extend your time — and self-care — together.
Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia
1 North 19th Street, Logan Circle
For a couple’s massage at the Four Seasons, you’ll need to book the Anniversary Celebration Massage for each of you ($270 per person), and request the couple’s suite for a side-by-side experience. After, sip on sparkling wine and indulge in some chocolates while you revel in city views, 57 floors above ground.
Joseph Anthony
Multiple locations
At any of Joseph Anthony’s locations (Market East, Glen Mills, and Springfield), the two of you can enjoy 55- or 85-minute massages of your choosing, as the couple’s treatment is entirely customizable. The cost depends on the massage styles selected.

The couple’s massage at this Havertown spa — which can be booked for 60 ($200 per couple) or 90 minutes ($300 per couple) — incorporates aromatherapy, chimes, and a rain stick for added relaxation. You can add on hot stones or deep-tissue therapy, too.
