We were shocked at the discrepancies we found when we asked some random local pharmacies how much four often-prescribed drugs cost for a one-month supply of a given dosage. We said we didn’t have insurance for our experiment, having heard that you can save money by not using your plan. We also checked prices at one online source, HealthWarehouse.com. What a crazy health system.
