Healthy living is all about balance, right? Choosing the salad and dessert or getting in a sweat before diving into the wine. Sweat Fitness is helping us all keep a healthy balance this month — in celebration of National Nutrition Month — with the introduction of their Healthy-ish Happy Hour series which will feature their wine-filled vinyasa flows with the welcome addition of some healthy (and yummy!) snacks from Simply Good Jars.

Here’s the scoop: Every Friday through the month of March, a Sweat trainer will be leading an hourlong Vinyasa flow from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. where folks will be stretching, bending and reaching for their glasses of wine. Post-workout, participants will be able to chat with the man behind Simply Good Jars, the founder and chef Jared Cannon, while sampling his nutritious creations. Oh, and you’ll leave with a 30-percent off coupon for a Simply Good Jars subscription.

The series is free to all Sweat Fitness members and will run non-members a mere $10 (which, hey, that’s less than most takeout salads). Just be sure to give the gym a call to reserve your spot.

It’s worth noting Healthy-ish Happy Hour will switch Sweat Fitness locations every week. The locations and their corresponding dates are outlined below:

Friday, March 9: Sweat Fitness Old City (45 North 3rd Street)
Friday, March 16: Sweat Fitness Queen Village (700 East Passyunk Avenue)
Friday, March 23: Sweat Fitness Manayunk (4151 Main Street)
Friday, March 30: Sweat Fitness South Philadelphia (1509 East Passyunk Avenue)

There you have it, friends! Here’s to a month full of healthy happy hours!
