FREE(ISH) ROCK N’ RUN By now, I’m sure you’re quite familiar with the regular group runs that start of at Philly’s local running hub — Philadelphia Runner. Well, they’re kicking off 2018 with a bang by putting together a cross-training run of sorts, dubbed the Rock N’ Run. It all starts off as Philadelphia Runner group runs usually do, you’ll meet at their Center City outpost (1601 Sansom Street) a 6:45 p.m. for check-in before the 2.5-mile (ish) run to Northern Liberties Go Vertical climbing gym. That’s where the cross-training part kicks in. The tentative plan is to climb or boulder for an hour or two and then conclude the night at a local bar. It’s free to run, but the cost of climbing, gear rentals, and post-workout drinks will fall on you. Run starts at 7 p.m.
