Good news for everyone who was bummed the day-long yoga festival Wanderlust in the City didn’t make it to Philly last year: We just got an email from the folks at Wanderlust saying  the new-ish yoga/running/meditation spin-off of the day-long fitness festival, called Wanderlust 108, is coming to Philly this year!

Now, it’s kind of a tease, because the email doesn’t list a date for the Philly Wanderlust 108 event. That said, we reached out to the folks at Wanderlust to see if we could get an idea of when to expect them and director of publicity Kimberly Smalls tells us, “We’ll be coming to Philly for sure in the fall, though the details are still being firmed up.” Eeeeeeee!

So, what can you expect at Wanderlust 108? Well, they call it a “Mindful Triathlon,” with the day consisting of three main elements: a noncompetitive 5K run, a 75-minute yoga class (with a DJ!) and a 30-minute guided meditation session. But if you aren’t a runner, not to worry: As the fest’s website says, “This is 5K (+/-) your way, so don’t sweat it. Or do. Run or walk, prance or skip, stroll or strut …”

The festivities also feature their Kula Market, where you’ll find all sorts of crafts and jewelry, plus yoga gear (natch), healthy eats and a “boochgarden” — that’s their take on a biergarten, but with kombucha. Really.

Ticket prices for Philly aren’t listed, but in other big cities where the ticket prices are listed, tickets are $29 with an optional $20 picnic-lunch add-on. And one very cool tidbit to note: Kids get in free. We’ll be giving you more info as we get it, so stay tuned, friends!
