Making your weekend plans? Here are 10 solid options for getting your fitness and fun on all weekend long.

1. Run to Work Day Philly
When: Friday, September 18th during your morning commute.
Where: Wherever you are!

Get your weekend off to a sweaty start with a nice jog to the office tomorrow in celebration of Philly’s second annual Run to Work Day. A collaborative effort between Be Well Philly, Philadelphia Runner and Run215, the day is meant to bring attention to Philly’s awesome running community, and provide an alternative, healthier way for you to get to work. We have running groups forming all over the city if you’re looking for running buddies, and be sure to swing by Philadelphia Runner at 16th and Sansom starting at 7:30 a.m. for our pre-work runner’s party. (Official Run to Work Day running groups will arrive around 7:45ish.) We’ll have breakfast for you, juice samples, swag and more fun. For lunch, head to one of the area’s Sweetgreen locations and score a free salad: Just show them an Instagram of your run commute (using the hashtag #RuntoWorkPHL) to get the deal. And while you’re at it, enter our Run to Work Day hashtag contest for a chance to win a sweet raffle prize. Who’s excited?!
