Before the barbecues and fireworks comes yoga, of course.

UPDATE 6/25: Due to permit issues, the location of the event has been changed. You can keep up with where you’ll find Keli on July 4th over on the Facebook event page here.

ORIGINAL: Fourth of July is right around the corner, guys! And you know what that means: parades, barbecues, fireworks, relaxing with family and friends, and … yoga? That’s right! This year, jumpstart your holiday relaxation with Fourth of July Freedom Flow Yoga, a donation-based class hosted by Keli Engleson, Philly yoga instructor and wellness blogger at Yoga Peach.

Grab your fellow yogis (beginners and experts alike!) and head over to Independence Hall, for this all-levels yoga class. The BYO-mat class will run from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. and will be held right on the grass in outside of Independence Hall.

All proceeds will go toward the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) to help fund research and development of a cure for cancer. So you’ll start July 4th feeling refreshed, relaxed, and like you’re making a positive difference. You can find more information here.
