3. Ladies’ Night at Body Cycle Studio and Focus Barre and Yoga
When: Friday, February 13th from 6 to 7:45 p.m.
Where: 1923 Chestnut Street, second floor, Rittenhouse.

How’s this for a fitness mashup? Neighbors Body Cycle Studio and Focus Barre and Yoga are teaming up for a two-part workout. You’ll start with a 30-minute Spin class at BCS, then head down the hall (literally—the studios are on the same floor of the same building) for a 30-minute session of either a barre or yoga class at Focus. It’s $20 for the whole event.

4. Valentine’s Day Yoga Classes
When: Various dates.
Where: Various locations.

If yoga is more your jam, check out our compendium of Valentine’s-themed yoga classes happening at studios throughout the region. They’re going on all weekend long.

5. Zombie Skate at Rothman Rink
When: Friday, February 13th from 7 to 10 p.m.
Where: Dilworth Park, Philadelphia City Hall.

It’s Halloween in February: Celebrate Friday the 13th with a spooky night of ice skating. A DJ will play scary(ish) tunes while a real live (er, dead?) zombie from Eastern State Penitentiary’s Terror Behind the Walls makes an appearance. It’s $4 for adults and $3 for kids under 11, plus $8 for skate rental.

6. Yoga, Movie and Wine Night
When: Friday, February 13th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Where: Priya Hot Yoga, 1828 Callowhill Street, Fairmount.

The gals at Priya Hot Yoga will lead you through 45 minutes of a slow-moving, thoroughly relaxing Yin yoga before switching gears for a rom com movie night, showing Crazy Stupid Love. Complimentary wine and light snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own eats, too. It’s $25 for the whole evening.

7. Non-Yoga Fitness Activities for Valentine’s Day
When: Various dates.
Where: Various locations.

If all want to do is sweat — like, reeeally sweat — this Valentine’s Day, there are a handful of studios that are getting into the V-Day spirit with themed boot camps, Spin classes and more.

8. LOVE Run Pop-up Run
When: Saturday, February 14th at 9 a.m.
Where: Meet at the Art Museum Steps.

The LOVE Run Half Marathon is hosting another free pop-up run this weekend, open to both race participants and non-participants. This week’s meet-up is co-hosted with the Philly Runners Running Club. All paces and fitness levels are welcome; there will be walking and running groups going various distances and speeds.

9. Ballroom Dance Workshop
When: Saturday, February 14th from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Where: Major Moment Studio, 1624 South Street, Grad Hospital.

Philly Dance Fitness is hosting a special workshop to give you a crash-course in ballroom dancing. You’ll spend an hour or so perfecting your form with some basic American-style rumba steps, then transition to a quick primer on East Coast swing, just for fun. Before you head out for your big Valentine’s date, you’re invited to sip champagne and sample of a spread of decadent desserts. The class is open to couple or singles (singles will be paired up for the dancing). It’s $60 for couples or $35 for individuals.
