Yesterday we unveiled our massive guide to Valentine’s Day yoga in the city and ‘burbs. So today, we thought we’d toss our non-yogi friends a bone.

If you’re more psyched on burpees and less jazzed about tree pose, you’ve come to the right place. Here’s what’s going on at non-yoga fitness studios this Valentine’s Day.

What: Valentine’s Day Ride at Flywheel // Grab a partner (significant other, best friend, sibling) for this competitive couples’ ride. It’s a 45-minute ride, and couples will work together as a team to out-pedal the competition. Champagne and chocolates will follow the class. The event is a benefit for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Eastern Pennsylvania. Email courtneybvictor@gmail.com to RSVP.
Where: 1521 Locust Street, Center City.
When: Saturday, February 14th at 1:30 p.m.
Cost: $40 suggested donation per team.

What: Candy Heart Boot Camp with CoreFitness // This boot camp at the Art Museum steps will incorporate candy hearts in the mix. Listen to this mysterious description: “If you’ve seen how Gina Mancuso can make a workout fiercely fun with pumpkins and jingle bells, just wait to see what she does with candy hearts!!” Intrigued? It’s open to singles and couples. Email gina@core-fit.com to sign up.
Where: Art Museum Steps, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Boulevard, Fairmount.
When: Saturday, February 14th at 9 a.m. (weather permitting).
Cost: $20 for drop-ins, or preregister by emailing Gina at the address above for $30 for two people.

What: Sweetheart Spin at the Wall Cycling Studio // Consider this the perfect excuse to rope that friend of yours into finally trying an indoor cycling class. At Sweetheart Spin, you can reserve a spot for yourself and bring a friend for free. Chocolate and champagne will be served after class. Simply enroll yourself in the class, and email the studio at info@thewallcycling.com with the name of your partner to reserve a bike for them.
Where: 100 Levering Street, Manayunk.
When: Friday, February 13th at 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $15.

What: #%$* Love Spin at the Wall Cycling Studio // I’ll let the class description do the talking for this one: “Sweethearts, champagne and strawberries not your scene? Join Kim for #%$* Love Spin. Trade the red and pink for all black, and the champagne for a 40 out of a paper bag.”
Where: 100 Levering Street, Manayunk.
When: Thursday, February 12th at 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $15.

What: Love Yourself Challenge at Body Cycle Studio // The Rittenhouse cycling studio is kicking off a six-week fitness challenge on Valentine’s Day weekend to help you reignite your love for sweating and healthy living. But the fun actually starts on Thursday, February 12th, with a free in-store ride and shopping event at Athleta on Walnut Street to preview the Challenge. Then the Challenge officially starts on Sunday, February 15th, with a heart-rate ride at Body Cycle to help gauge your starting point and baseline fitness level. The Challenge includes unlimited access to all Body Cycle Studio classes, goal setting and accountability with BCS trainers and fellow Challenge participants, weekly weight check-ins and motivation (and freebies!) along the way.
Where: Kick off ride is at 1722 Walnut Street, Rittenhouse. The studio is located at 1923 Chestnut Street, second floor, Rittenhouse.
When: The kick-off ride is on February 12th from 7 to 8 p.m.; the heart-rate ride at Body Cycle Studio is on February 15th at 9 a.m.
Cost: The six-week Love Yourself Challenge costs $199 for the whole shebang, but the kick-off ride at Athleta is free.

What: Valentine’s Day Singles Workout and Brunch at Unite Fitness // After you’re nice and sweaty from a 75-minute workout, you and your classmates will head to Pennsylvania 6 for a buffet brunch. The idea is to use the time to meet and mingle other singles who are interested in fitness. Cool, huh? The class is recruiting an equal number of men and women; as of this writing, the women’s registration is fully booked, but there is still space for men.
Where: Unite Fitness, 12th and Sansom, Midtown Village.
When: Saturday, February 14th from noon to 1:15 for the workout, and 2 to 3:30 p.m. for brunch.
Cost: $25, includes workout and brunch.
