The Super Run Coming to Philly This Summer

First it was the 90s-themed 5K. Then it was the Chickie & Pete’s 5K. And just when you thought the 5K scene in Philly couldn’t get any weirder, we hear about The Super Run, a superhero-themed 1K and 5K, coming to Philly on June 21st. Costumes are encouraged, but if you don’t have a full Batman suit at the ready, fear not: all participants get a free cape.

The run starts and ends at The Navy Yard, with check-in for both races beginning at 8:30 a.m. The 1K is first, kicking off at 10 a.m., followed by the 5K at 10:30. The 1K will only set you back $10, and the 5K is $25 in advance or $30 day-of. Along with the aforementioned free cape, participants get a bracelet and temporary tattoo. Yes, please!
