Sidecar Bar at 2201 Christian Street is about to re-launch. About a month ago, Michael Strauss (Mike’s BBQ), Mike Metzger and William Lindsay (Stockyard Sandwich Co.) bought the bar. Now, they’re planning the grand re-opening on Wednesday, November 27th.

Taps will feature craft beer and cider, with domestics available in bottles and cans. They’ll roll out the cocktail menu throughout the coming week, but Strauss says they will focus on using local products like Stateside vodka.

The food menu has been given a major overhaul as well.

“We’ve noticed in the short time here that the neighborhood views this spot as a more a restaurant,” Strauss said. “So handmade pastas, seafood, house-made charcuterie will be making appearances.”
