Frank Gehry’s Finger Inspires Other Architects to Do the Same…on Tumblr

Following in the footsteps of Frank Gehry (who’s redesigning the Museum of Art), some other noted architects have been photographed flipping the bird. If only the images were real!

ArchDaily made us privy to this awesome tumblr called “Supporting Frank Owen Gehry,” which contained visibly manipulated photos of famous architects giving the finger. (Louis Kahn, Frank Lloyd Wright, I.M. Pei to name a few.) The blog was born in the wake of Gehry’s jaw-dropping response to a question during a press conference in Spain.

As quickly as the funny webpage was born, however, it was shut down. Yesterday, the SFOG tumblr removed all of its edited images, leaving only this disclaimer (click on image for higher resolution)
