Second Teen Charged With Murder In High School Girl’s Killing

Police say 15-year-old Quadir Gibson directed the man accused of Aisha Abdur Rhaman's death to shoot several people. Gibson faces a litany of charges.

Philadelphia Police announced today they have arrested a second suspect in the killing of 15-year-old Aisha Abdur Rhaman on Tuesday. Rhaman, a student at Delaware Valley Charter High School, was hit by a stray bullet after students gathered for a fight near Einstein Medical Center.

Police arrested the alleged shooter, 19-year-old Darian Person, earlier this week. Today they picked up Quadir Gibson, 15, and charged him with criminal conspiracy, murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault and other offenses. He is being charged as an adult.

Cops say Gibson, of the Oxford Circle section of the city, brought Person to the scene of the fight and told him to shoot several people. Person was formerly a student at Delaware Valley Charter, the same school Rhaman attended.

6 ABC reports Gibson is a star running back at Father Judge High School. He played on the Philadelphia Little Quakers football team last year.
