The "In My Body Project" Premiere

On November 18, 2010, the KatherineAlexandra Foundation and Wexler Gallery hosted a private premiere of the "In My Body Project," a multi-disciplinary examination of body image, self-perception and body esteem inspired by the phenomenal photographs of Leah Macdonald and the song, “In My Body,” with music by Dan Martin and lyrics by Michael Biello. The event debuted Leah Macdonald’s In My Body photo exhibition at Wexler Gallery and previewed the In My Body musical and dance performance at The Painted Bride. Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres by 12th Street Catering and a surprise musical performance of the “In My Body” song featuring Broadway star Natalie Belcon (Avenue Q, Rent), along with local singers Karina Croskrey, Eleonore Thomas and Jordi Wallen.
