We went into our top-of-the-Bucks-County-rental-market search confident that, as was the case on the Main Line, we’d find some spectacular houses occupying this space.
We weren’t disappointed. In fact, we found nothing else up there.
There are no restored barns in this collection, but there is one classic farmhouse. And most of these properties are suitable for the kind of entertaining some Bucks Countians are known for. One of them is even in the right zip code.

This is the house that’s in the right zip code. Like many New Hope party palaces, it’s in Solebury Township, which shares its highly-regarded school district with New Hope Borough. Yet even though it has the space to entertain on a grand scale inside and out, this French-inspired château presents a more serene, restrained and dignified face to guests than those huge party barns. Which doesn’t mean you can’t throw a helluva party here.
